These prices are for birds cared for whether at my home or yours.  Cockatoos and Mcaws would need care in their own environment.  Smaller birds can be taken care of  at my home, and bringing a cage is suggested.  Larger birds can reside in cages I have on the premises.

Prices do not reflect the total price of care at your home due to location and fluctuating gas prices.  The amount of visits per day will alter the cost as well.

Multiple birds of any species (prices will be adjusted for groups).  The prices will not be per bird if several birds are involved.  A bulk price quote will be provided depending on the quantity of birds and their needs.

Prices will also be adjusted and discount given for long stays (more than two weeks).  All prices will be reasonable and comparable or lower than normal boarding costs.

I understand because I have parrots that prices can be very expensive and prohibitive toward travel.  That is why pricing will be adjusted to be reasonable for the client and for me as the caregiver.

All information on the bird is necessary, name, age, health.  Your vet's name should be provided, as well as an emergency contact person that can make decisions for your bird in the event you are unable/or cannot be reached.

Pricing for birds staying would be 1/2 the price upon drop off and 1/2 upon pick up.  No checks are accepted unless you are a long term client.  Cash payments only.  ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

Birds will be provided with pelleted diets, safflower based seeds if they eat seed, some egg foods, fresh fruit and vegies and rice mixtures daily.  Fresh water and cleaning of the cage is daily also.  Birds wings must be clipped if they stay at my home.

My goal is to make your departure from home as easy as possible for your FID, as they are smart as we all know and miss their human friends.  The bird must feel safe and cared for to be happy and healthy while you are away.  This way upon your return there should be happiness upon your arrival and no anger at you leaving them.

Aggressive birds will  not have as much out of cage time if too aggressive.  Toys if you wish are suggested to be brought to make your bird's stay more manageable or any items that make them more comfortable.
